Jackie’s strong leadership ability and extensive experience with individuals of all ages and from all walks of life, inspired Jackie to found Embrace Women’s Services (EWS).
EWS is a not-for-profit organization, in operation since 2004, committed to the practical delivery of help, hope and healing to the hurting of society. With the goal of restoration, EWS subsequently is committed to see “the cycle of help” return to households and communities of the individuals served.
You can find Jackie regularly in the corridors of the federal correction center, offering Chaplin services to in-mates, focusing on recovery, renewal and freedom of the mind and spirit. In partnership with the local shelter, Jackie and her team also facilitates relevant programs to support women who find themselves displaced and in need. Jackie looks beyond the obvious risk behaviours and character blemishes of others. She cultivates the boundless possibilities found in what people “can and are divinely created to be!”
